Advantages

A Web counter allows you and your visitors to track visits to your website. It enables you to see how many people visit and at what time do they visit most for you to make important content updates.  And this will give advertisers confidence as they are able to check the visitors regularly and guarantees that their adverts are being viewed than relying on your statistics weekly or monthly statistics.  It also encourages visitors when they see others online they tend to spend more time trying to find out what makes your site ticks.

Disadvantages

Some advertisers approach the site owners based on the visitors they see online.  And if you approach them they will want to visit your site when you are not expecting them and should they see that at that particular day there are only few people than you presented to them you might loose business.  And even visitors may be discouraged when realizing that they are the only ones online.  That can be translated as site being unpopular.

Risk off is when investors/traders move out of the stock into other places deemed safe like treasuries.  And when they feel safe and comfortable about the market they move into the stock and that is Risk on.

Can One Country be  in Recession when the rest of the World is not?

I need to understand how does recession work as at times one would hear that Spain is in recession when other European countries are not.

It is possibile for one country to be in recession when others are not and the economic woes of one country can have impact on the other hence intervention is needed to revive the economy.  What triggers recession in any country is when the Gross Domestic Product(GDP) falls below 5-10 percent for two or more quarters consecutively. The GDP can be defined as the total market value of services, goods, investment and labor within a country in a given period of time, which is usually one year.   The moment most people loose jobs at the region of 7 million or so that may lead to depression.

Firstly we need to understand what the abbreviations stand for:  SME stands for Small Medium Enterprise and SMME stands for Small Medium Micro Enterprise.

SMME are companies that are below R5 million turn over per annum, this is the standard for generic broad-based BEE scorecard purpose. SMMEs encompass a very broad range of firms, from established  traditional family businesses employing over a hundred people (medium-sized enterprises), down to the survivalist self-employed from the poorest layers of the population (informal micro-enterprises).   And the SME are companies with turnover of between R5 million to R35 million.  SMEs contributes between 52 to 57% of GDP and  provide 61% to employment.
